Giving Back to Children Worldwide Through Education That Changed My Life

I currently live in the breathtakingly beautiful setting of Hawaii with my beloved wife and our three uniquely wonderful children. Surrounded by the abundant beauty of nature here, I draw much inspiration from my surroundings, and I spend each day filled with gratitude for my wife and family, who supported me through difficult times.

However, Japan, my homeland, is always in my heart. Especially when I think of the devastating earthquake that struck the Noto Peninsula on January 1st of this year, which claimed 341 precious lives and ravaged the beautiful natural landscape, I feel a deep ache inside.

The Noto Peninsula, facing the Sea of Japan, suffered extensive damage from the earthquake and subsequent tsunami.

In the midst of this, I began to wonder if there was anything I could do from afar in Hawaii to help. That’s when I decided to pursue a long-held dream: to support the revitalization of the Noto Peninsula through the production of an animated film.

Upon visiting the affected areas, the devastation I witnessed was beyond words. The reality on the ground, which can never be fully conveyed through news reports, was indeed overwhelming. Even after more than six months, the recovery of the Noto Peninsula has a long road ahead, requiring much time, funding, effort, and manpower.

What I came to realize through this experience was the remarkable richness of Japan’s traditional culture and the “Wa” spirit—the Japanese value of contributing to others. I understood that one of my missions is to help build a better future through these cherished values.

By blending education and entertainment—two forces that saved my life—I wanted to deliver this vital culture and learning to the children who will shape our future.

As part of this mission, I established a completely new animation studio that combines traditional craftsmanship with animation.

This studio represents a world-first initiative, merging the techniques of traditional crafts with cutting-edge innovation.

This project aims not only to produce animation but also to bring the fading art of Japanese traditional craftsmanship to the global stage in a new form, enhancing its value. Through this project, I believe we can help raise global awareness and work toward a peaceful, diverse, and inclusive society.

With the support of many amazing individuals, this project has taken off with great momentum, aiming to contribute to the recovery of the Noto Peninsula and further revitalization of Ishikawa Prefecture.

I am confident that this endeavor will be a powerful force in advancing the growth of society and humanity. If you resonate with this project and wish to be part of the effort to make the world a better place, I invite you to join us.

There would be nothing more rewarding for us at this moment.

Thank you so much for reading until the end.

Let’s build a bright future together through edutainment.
